My name is Abigail (but my friends call me Abby)! I am a designer, photographer, explorer, and lover of all things art. I believe design holds immense power, molding the world we live in. I view it as a tool for positive change, a means to make the world a better place. My passion lies in using design as a language to communicate and assist others. I strongly believe that my personal values are intricately woven into both my identity and my design approach. When I'm not in design mode, catch me thrifting, hiking, watching The Office, or just chilling with a cup of tea.

Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?

Don't worry so much—things will fall into place in ways you can't see yet. Trust the process, trust yourself, and most importantly, trust the Lord’s plan.

What's your favorite A+D memory?

Late-night fast food runs with classmates while working on projects—exhausted but laughing, brainstorming ideas, and bonding over the shared chaos of deadlines.

What was your favorite A+D class?

History of Graphic Design—it was eye-opening and full of challenging ideas that changed the way I see design. Plus, the magazine project was a favorite!

What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?

Pitch Week—it was the moment I truly began to see myself as a professional and believe that I have what it takes to pursue design as a career. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me confidence in my work.

What's next for you?

After graduation, I’ll be stepping into a full-time design role at Anderson University! I’m so excited to continue creating for my alma mater and being part of the community that has shaped me so much.

How do you hope your work makes an impact?

Ultimately, I want my designs to serve and help people in a meaningful way.
