Creating is an intrinsic part of who I am. This natural extension of my personality goes with me everywhere. When I view a space, I see the potential for beauty even in things that others might not deem beautiful. This perspective shapes my approach to materials and fuels my passion for sharing my unique view with the world. I strive to teach people how to see that inspired creation is everywhere; it depends on what you choose to perceive. My hope is that through my work, others will discover their own potential to find creativity in the world around them, even in the places least expected.

Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?

Don't make the work you feel expected to make, be you.

What's your favorite A+D memory?

My favorite memory was during a ceramics critique when we stay up till 4am finishing the project, and then the next morning we wanted to continue working so we set up a table in the courtyard since there was class in the ceramics studio to keep working before our critique. We made this reel of that 48 hours.

What was your favorite A+D class?

Even though I didn't take a ceramics concentrations, my favorite class was Ceramics 3. because of the wonderful people. We pushed each other to be the best versions of ourself and created a sweet community.

What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?

My first large fiber project taught be that I can make art that true to myself. I received an award from the Spartanburg Collegiate Invitational Exhibition. It showed me that I had what it takes to do this work.

What's next for you?

I plan to pursue a career in children's therapy and share my love of art with them as well as contenting my private studio practice.

How do you hope your work makes an impact?

I hope create work that reaches and interacts with people.
