For me, design is where creativity meets clarity—a space where I can explore, solve problems, and bring ideas to life. It’s not just about making things look good, but about telling stories, evoking emotion, and building connections. I’m drawn to the intersection of play and purpose, where imagination and problem-solving work together. I believe design is a way to communicate and shape experiences that matter, creating meaningful impact in both big and small ways. Every project is an opportunity to serve others, to create with intention, and to reflect the creativity of the Ultimate Creator. I want my work to bring joy, spark curiosity, and make life a little better, even in the smallest of ways.

Design is how I process the world, connect with others, and bring ideas into tangible reality. It’s where my creativity, curiosity, and purpose come together to create meaningful experiences. Everything I do is rooted in the belief that play and purpose are interconnected, that the act of creating is an extension of something greater than myself. Through design, I aim to inspire, elevate, and leave lasting impressions. Ultimately, I hope to bring brightness, imagination, and connection to the world, shaping moments that resonate with people and encourage deeper connections.

Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?

I would tell myself to trust the process and embrace the uncertainty. Growth happens in the messy, unexpected moments. I’d also remind myself to stay curious, ask "what if...?," experiment freely, and not fear failure.

What's your favorite A+D memory?

My favorite memory has to be anything related to AU Type Foundry. I had the honor of being the co-president of the first-ever student-led type foundry with Kieran, and watching this club grow from the ground up has been amazing. Being able to leave with it launched as an official club makes all of the hard work feel worth it.

What was your favorite A+D class?

History of Graphic Design and Digital Resurrections in Typography are tied for me. One explained that we can change the world as designers, while the other gave me the love of typography.

What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?

History of Graphic Design was a class I will never forget. As a designer, I learned how impactful my work can be, for better or for worse, and that every design choice carries a weight, shaping how people think, feel, and interact with the world.

What's next for you?

While I am not fully sure what lies ahead, I hope to find a space where I can let my imagination roam, push creative boundaries, and create work that is both meaningful and impactful. I want to continue learning, growing, and using design to bring ideas to life in ways that inspire and connect with others.

How do you hope your work makes an impact?

I hope my work sparks joy, ignites curiosity, and connects with others on a deeper level. My goal is to create designs that make life a little brighter and inspire people to see the world in new ways.
