I’m a designer who believes that great design is about making space for others to thrive. For me, design is not just a tool for creating solutions—it’s an act of care and intentionality. I love understanding people deeply, collaborating thoughtfully, and crafting designs that bring joy and purpose to others.

I’m passionate about design that balances seriousness with playfulness. I approach complex challenges with intention, but I also know that creativity flourishes when there’s room for curiosity and humor. For me, design is a continuous process of learning, sharing, and building meaningful connections.

Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?

Don't worry about what others are doing, rather, let your personal passions drive your work.

What's your favorite A+D memory?

My favorite A+D memory is when Brae, Abby Mac, Iley, and I took a VERY last minute trip to New York to gather research for a project. We got to know each other really well, laughed a lot, saw a broadway show, and met a ton of interesting people. Genuinely one of my favorite trips that I will never forget.

What was your favorite A+D class?

My favorite A+D class was Branding! I loved immersing myself in the research process to craft a well-informed and impactful visual identity.

What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?

Our first major critique in Typography was a pivotal moment for me as a designer. Before that moment, I struggled with self-confidence in my work. However, the feedback and insights from that critique not only deepened my love for typography design but also gave me the confidence to fully embrace my skills as a designer.

What's next for you?

Next I want to continue shaping a life where people remain at the heart of everything. It’s finding a job where collaboration and connection thrive, settling in a location that offers a strong sense of community through good friends and a supportive church, and making time intentional moments with the people I love.

How do you hope your work makes an impact?

I hope my work empowers others to pursue their passions. Whether it’s facilitating teams, creating meaningful designs that support causes close to my heart, or exploring a range of opportunities, I aim to create impact by enabling others to thrive and focus on what truly matters to them.
