Hi! I’m Rebekah Smith, a graphic designer, creative thinker, and visual storyteller from Delaware who delights in the process of intentional, reflective, and conceptual design. My passion for graphic design derived from capturing and observing the beauty and mundane of the world from a camera. My four-year journey has brought me a deeper understanding of learning, collaborating, and serving others with the skills God has given me. The process of design has built my portfolio into diversely intricate pieces of work reflective of who I am. I especially enjoy branding, writing, archiving, and designing user interfaces and experiences. In future collaborative projects, I am excited to continue learning, building brands, and demonstrating conceptual design thinking.
Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?
I would advise myself to document the memorable experiences and photograph obscure artifacts. Doing so would expand my collection of creative inspiration, references, and aspirations.

Senior Symposia.
What was your favorite A+D class?
Special Topics: Design for Social Value.
What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?
